TOPICS

Recent observations provide compelling evidence that super-massive black holes exist at the centers of almost all galaxies, and recent galaxy formation models suggest an intimate connection between galaxy properties and black hole growth over cosmic time. This workshop will bring together a select group of observers and theorists to discuss the latest issues and observations related to the synergistic growth and evolution of galaxies and their central black holes.

  • Multiwavelength Observations of AGN
  • The Black Hole Torus & Unification
  • AGN Environments
  • Bulge and Black Hole Growth
  • Black Holes in Star-forming Galaxies
  • Growth of Black Holes in Mergers
  • AGN Feedback
  • High-Redshift Black Holes
