I will present results from numerical simulations of the formation of
disk galaxies in a Lambda CDM context. A realistic description of the
effects of feedback coupled to sufficient resolution are the necessary
ingredients to form galaxies that have many characteristics of the
real ones over a significant range of galaxy masses. Artificial images
resembling SDSS frames will be presented... and the audience will be
invited to guess the real galaxies from the simulated models.
