A model for Lyman alpha galaxies

Lyman alpha galaxies are high red shift objects which exhibit a very
complicated Lyman alpha line structure. We present a model and solve it
to show that quite a simple physical model (and complicated radiative
transfer equation) with photon diffusion in the frequency space can
explain nicely the observed structure of the line.
